As a fashion designer with over 20 years experience, I've travelled and worked extensively with overseas factories that many of the High street clothing retailers and brands currently use.

I couldn't shake the images of mass produced clothing I'd witnessed being made firsthand. The environmental toll of fast fashion. The sheer waste, particularly in bridal fashion—where gowns are often worn only once—was something I could no longer ignore.

That's why I founded Recycled Bridal Collective.

The mission is simple: to give single-use wedding gowns a second life, transforming them into modern, beautiful designs for brides who want to make a difference.
Sustainability and style can coexist, and through Recycled Bride Collective, I’m committed to making that a reality—one dress at a time.

How to place your RBC order

  • 1.

    Choose your preferred RBC style(s), but don't make your purchases just yet.

  • 2.

    Order your Fabric Swatches
    from the product listings, and drop us an email to let us know which style(s) you would like to buy.

    Let us know upon receipt which fabrics you prefer.

  • 3.

    Check your measurements as shown on the Sizing Page. Choose your size carefully, as all items are made-to-measure, so can't be returned.

  • 4.

    Jump back on our website and order your styles.

    We will email you a sketch of your ordered pieces on a mannequin for your approval.

  • 5.

    Once we receive your sketch approval, we will begin making your pieces.

  • 6.

    Make time for your order will be 4-6 weeks.

    We will let you know when your items are ready to post.

Lucy Brown is the Hassocks based Bridal Designer behind the Recycled Bridal Collective, a range of wedding separates and dresses made using up-cycled and pre-loved bridal-wear.

She has over 20 years creating wedding gowns made to measure, and is an expert in all bridal and occasion-wear alterations.
